The inspiration for this design came when we looked at a very old photo from 1907. Fascinated by the charisma of this confident young New Yorker woman, we first tried to capture her on an etching, to finally give her our reference on fine silk, too.
Because obviously she did her very own, individual thing over 100 years ago!
